Preheat the oven to 180 degrees
10 (small/normal servings) or 8 bigger ones
Ingredients
- 3 eggs
- 3 bananas
- 125 gram oatmeal (you can also buy flour so you don’t have to blend the oatmeal)
- 4 tsp sugar (or dates 20 gram)
- 30 gram cacao powder
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 scoop natural whey isolate protein powder (you can also just take whey protein or chocolate whey protein and leave the chocolate below out of the cake)
- 24 gram pure chocolate
- a bit of salt
- 30 gram walnuts
- baking paper and a cake mold
Super easy
- Blend the oatmeal to a flour (this is cheaper than oatmeal flour from the supermarket)
- Mix the 3 eggs, 2 bananas, salt, chocolate, sugar (or dates) and oatmeal flour to a soft texture
- Mix the cacao powder and the whey protein though the mix you just made (gentaly)
- Put the last banana in small pieces in the batter
- Put the baking paper in the cake mold and scoop the batter in it
- Brake the walnuts in pieces (or not, what you like) and sprinkle it on the batter (it is nice to push some walnuts in the batter)
- Bake for 40 minutes on 180 degrees
Because of the protein in it, the cake will taste a bit dry but definitely one of the best protein cakes I made so far, so I needed to share with you
